Purchased it for my mother, who has Alzheimer's. She has only sight in one eye. This product is BIG, BRIGHT and very easy for her to read from across the room. I'm thrilled that I will no longer need to write the day and date on a dry-erase board on a daily basis.
The only improvement I would suggest for this clock is that it be manufactured to use batteries.

This is the best product on the market. Worth every penny. My 90 year old mother had a hard time keeping track of the day and date and reading any clock from a distance and this fit every bill. Everyone that's seen it asked "where'd you get that" and "Wow, that's really great" and it sure is. Thank you so much!

This product is a little too large for placing on a table top or somewhere that is easy to see from a chair. It is too bright and should have a DIMMER SWITCH for easier viewing especially at night. It is a great tool for the elderly.

Bought this for my Mom, who has dementia. Hung it right across from her bed and every morning she wakes and knows what day it is. She raves how it helps her all through the day. Before she was constantly asking, but now she is empowered and proud she doesn't have to ask anymore. The staff at her nursing home all ask where I purchased it, and want it for their loved ones. Completely satisfied with this purchase!

At first my 90-year-old Mother objected to the size and brightness of the clock. I agree with her that it looks like a commercial sign that you might see in a store. Doesn't really fit in with a beautifully decorated home. She said send it back, so I asked her to try it for a few more days, and kept the receipts in case I had to return it.

By day 2 she said it was quite helpful. By day 3 she said she couldn't do without it.

Note -- if you hang it on the wall there will be a cord hanging down beneath the clock unless you have an electrical outlet at that spot on the wall.

I like the fact that when I received the clock and plugged it in it was already set for the correct day, date, and time. Didn't have to use the instructions at all to get it up and running.

Purchased for my Mother who was having problems with day/date. This caused problems with meds, even thought a SMTWThFS dispenser is used. The clock provides the orientation she needs and her confidence has increased not only with taking meds but with her day-to-day schedule in general.Being regularly reminded of the day/date also gives her a sense of security. Located in kitchen next to meds, she can seee the day/date every time she uses the kitchen. The clock casts quite a bit of light, and in the beginning it shocked her when getting up in the middle of the night for a cup of tea. Now she likes it.Great product, highly recommended!

I bought this for my 93 year old uncle. He was often confused about the day of the week and if it was morning or evening. This clock/calendar has been a big help. He can see the information easily and has been less confused.
